How Vision AI takes critical infrastructure security to the next level
We recently released the latest version of the Vaidio platform: Vaidio 9.1. This release includes a number of new features and improvements that make using video analytics faster, smarter and more scalable.
In Vaidio 9.0, Natural Language Video Search was introduced. With version 9.1, this feature has been further expanded and refined. Users can now search thousands of hours of video footage even faster and more intuitively by simply entering free text, such as “”person with red coat”” or “”car with open boot””. This makes forensic imaging more efficient and accessible to any operator.
A much-requested new feature in Vaidio 9.1 is the ability to gain insights into the camera configuration in real time. During deployment, the platform automatically calculates the capacity requirements, displays a preview and makes suggestions for an optimal configuration. This speeds up deployment and significantly reduces the risk of errors.
While Cross Camera Tracking previously only focussed on tracking people, the new Vehicle Cross Camera Tracking in Vaidio 9.1 also enables the seamless tracking of vehicles across multiple cameras. This is of great value for applications in the fields of traffic management, (urban) security and logistics. This creates a better overview and enables operators to react more quickly to abnormal situations.
In Vaidio 9.1, user-friendliness has been further improved thanks to a revised interface with full-page analyses and intuitive configuration options. Operators will find their way around more quickly and achieve immediate results. In addition, Vaidio 9.1 introduces dwell time analysis to accurately measure the time people spend in specific zones or rooms. This provides valuable insights for retail, crowd management, logistics processes and more.
Vaidio 9.1 now also supports integration with, among others AMAG Symmetry CompleteViewand IDIS VMS. This makes the platform even more compatible with existing infrastructures and reduces management costs and complexity.
