VAIBS Image Analytics: the smart filter for the control room
Vaidio Video Search makes searching through hours of film material very easy and efficient. In version 9.1 of Vaidio, we have further optimised this module with Natural Language Search. With Natural Language Search, it is possible to search in natural language, just as you would with Google, for example.
Natural Language Search is a new way to interact with Video AI Analytics. Instead of manually ticking categories or selecting attributes, you now use words to describe what you are looking for. Vaidio analyses the sentence, recognises relevant objects, actions and parameters, and automatically searches through the metadata of all connected cameras.
Thanks to Natural Language Search, Vaidio can not only recognise standard features (such as person, vehicle or bag), but also understand descriptions with multiple features at once. For example:
Choose an object via the search filter and simply type a description in the search field of the Video Search module. Vaidio interprets this text via its Natural Language Search engine, which uses advanced semantic AI models. The engine links the description to existing video objects, such as ‘person’, ‘vehicle’, ‘bicycle’ or ‘bag’, including their colour, position or behaviour. It then searches the entire video network for relevant fragments.
The results appear on the screen within seconds, with visual examples of all cameras where a match was found. Each snippet can be opened, exported or shared immediately.
Natural Language Search brings video AI analytics closer to humans. Vaidio narrows the gap between what we see and what we want to know, making searching through video data more intuitive than ever before. Whether for incident investigation, process optimisation or situational awareness, the right footage can be found in seconds.
