VAIBS Image Analytics: the smart filter for the control room
AMR-ICT, Gold-IP and VAIBS are joining forces. With this collaboration, the parties are able to offer a scalable solution that can assist healthcare organizations in providing quality care at an affordable price.
The pressure on the health care system is great. For example, the aging population is increasing, the labor market for healthcare personnel is becoming tighter and tighter, and healthcare costs are rising. As a result, it is becoming increasingly difficult for many healthcare providers to maintain the quality of care at the desired, high level. AMR ICT, Gold-IP and VAIBS are now working together to solve the above challenges.
AMR ICT has been designing, building and maintaining ICT infrastructures for the healthcare and corporate sectors for more than 20 years. In the healthcare sector, the company sees a growing demand for smart solutions.
Does a dangerous or undesirable situation occur? Then it sends an alarm via a care call system to care personnel who can respond appropriately. In this way, the quality of life for patients and clients improves and care personnel can be deployed only for reports that really matter. Â Scarce capacity can therefore be used to provide optimal care.
Kasper van Kekem, Commercial Director at VAIBS, is very pleased with this new partnership: ‘We came into contact with AMR ICT through Gold-IP. The contact with AMR ICT was good from the beginning. It became clear fairly quickly that a joint effort adds value for the end user. By joining forces, we are now able to support physical care to the highest attainable level. That is something we are proud of.
Marco Tom, Commercial Director at AMR ICT, also responded enthusiastically: ‘With VAIBS, after a thorough orientation on available solutions, we found a partner that fits AMR ICT well: innovative, flexible and also very driven to work with us. A big plus is that our standard is the MOBOTIX smart sensor. This is a standard to which VAIBS Care fits seamlessly. Together with VAIBS, we therefore expect to be able to provide not only our current customers, but also other healthcare organizations and hospitals with a suitable AI solution for fall detection. We look forward to the cooperation with confidence, especially since our further wish list is now part of VAIBS Care’s roadmap.””
AMR ICT designs, builds and maintains ICT infrastructures for healthcare and business organizations. For healthcare organizations, AMR ICT is a partner for Nursing Call Systems (NCS), Medical Call Systems (MCS) and Medical Alert Systems (MAS), whether or not integrated with VoIP solutions, WiFi or private LTE/GSM. Within the business world, the Maastricht family business is positioning itself as a dedicated Cisco partner and service provider when it comes to LAN, WAN, WiFi, data center, telephony and collaboration solutions. The concepts AMR ICT rolls out are based on the proven technology of its partners: Cisco, IndigoCare, IQ Messenger, Kadex, Microsoft, Mobotix and SafetyTracer. Falls and wandering incidents are a major health risk for the elderly. To detect these incidents at an early stage, “”smart”” sensors are commonly used. These are often inaccurate, generating false or late reports. This causes care personnel to be on site (too) late or wrongly. With VAIBS Care, this is a thing of the past.
VAIBS Care is a Video AI Analytics platform capable of automatically detecting falling persons, persons not (or no longer) in bed and wandering persons at an early stage and automatically alerting care personnel. Deployment of the platform provides several benefits for patients, clients and care staff alike. Discover the benefits of VAIBS Care at www.vaibs.com/vaibs-care.
