Increase safety around heavy equipment with smart person detection

Prevent accidents through automatic person detection

As mentioned, limited visibility from the cockpit of large, industrial vehicles (e.g., shovels) poses a high risk of accidents. By equipping these all around with a camera system, linked to Vaidio, it is possible to automatically detect persons approaching the vehicle too closely within a second. When this is the case, artificial intelligence ensures that the driver is alerted via a light signal in the cockpit.

A standalone solution that is fully configurable

This smart solution runs on an edge device, making it completely standalone. This means that a network connection is not required and the system can be built in or out compactly. Because the cameras themselves are waterproof and solid, the system can also be deployed within challenging conditions. In addition, the Vaidio platform is fully configurable, making it possible to decide at what distance persons come too close to the vehicle. Its high accuracy also makes it applicable within an area with uneven surfaces or where there are many loose objects around the vehicle.
