VAIBS Image Analytics: the smart filter for the control room
The ‘Unburdening through Integration’ seminar we organised with partner IQ Messenger at Slot Loevestein was well attended. On 26 September, we were able to welcome more than 80 participants from Care and Cure to the beautiful location in Poederoijen.
During the seminar, participants received several presentations and demonstrations on the potential of Video AI Analytics in healthcare and the power of the brand-independent alarm platform from IQ Messenger. Of course, the integration between the Vaidio and IQ Messenger platforms was a common thread in this story.
To create a safe working and living environment for patients, clients and staff, almost all hospitals and healthcare facilities are now equipped with a camera network and sensors. What if we made these (and new) cameras and sensors smarter to support healthcare staff as effectively as possible? That’s what Kasper van Kekem (VAIBS) and Eloy Holster (IQ Messenger) together talked more about.
Of course, the integration between the two platforms was also demonstrated live. Henk-Jan Hop (VAIBS) and Sander Kooiman (IQ Messenger) simulated various events that regularly occur within the walls of a healthcare organisation or hospital. Think of falls, strays and multiple people in a room. This clarified the detection of these events and the follow-up of alarms in practice.
After the presentations and demonstration, Renco van Leeuwen, head of ICT at Amarijn, on Amarijn’s vision for the deployment of smart technology and care home automation. In doing so, he shared his experiences in integrating the two solutions. Amarijn uses both Vaidio from VAIBS and IQ Messenger to support its staff in the primary process in such areas as detection of wandering and falls.
In late 2023, we already presented a webinar on the above topic in collaboration with IQ Messenger. Did you miss the seminar and still want to know more about the possibilities? The webinar can be watched back at this link. Do you have any questions? Feel free to contact one of our specialists. They will be happy to tell you more.
